Yamato Deluxe Iaido Hakama is made totally by using Tetrex fabric from the world renowned Japanese company TORAY, Inc. Tetrex® fabric (65% polyester / 35% rayon) has excellent properties of comfort, volume and easy care which make it very popular in Japan, not only for Iaido but also for Kendo, Aikido, Kyudo and other Japanese disciplines.
In order to offer a proper, firm but comfortable and avoid the Saya slipping down during training, Yamato Budogu has improved the Iaido Hakama by putting a 30 cm length thin pad inside the front Himo appropriately in the middle taking into account the range of movement of the Katana or Iaito.
