Returns
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since you received the order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Any return shipment caused by customs, postal service issue or customer's refusal to receive the order, regardless the type of item, would not be eligible for refund or exchange.

In case to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and tags.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYTHING WITHOUT INFORM US BEFORE.

Used, customized embroidery or custom-made items are exempt from being returned, canceled or exchanged

Please be careful during the checkout process to ensure you have ordered correctly. We do not refund or exchange any items, which were ordered incorrectly (e.g. wrong size, wrong color, wrong color of embroidery, wrong text for embroidery etc.). We recommend you NOT TO SEND ANYTHING without informing us firstly for the avoidance of difficulties of returning and unnecessary costs.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If the return is due to an error on our part, we will refund any associated shipping fees. Otherwise, the shipping fees will NOT be refunded.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@yamatobudogu.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@yamatobudogu.com with your order number and the reason why you want to make the exchange

Shipping
If the return is due to an error on our part, we will refund any associated shipping fees. Otherwise, the shipping fees will NOT be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

During the shopping process we'll ask for your shipping address details including your country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

Duties and taxes depend on the customs laws of the country of delivery. Customs duties and taxes are always billed to the receiver. Some countries may require an import license, for more information please contact the relevant authority of your country.

Yamato Budogu DO NOT ACCEPT any packed returned for non-payments of customs duties.The order would not be eligible for refund or exchange and will be confiscated and eventually can be destroyed by the local customs authorities of your country.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to review your orders. You may compare your order history on our website, with your financial records. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact customer service for further assistance.

During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order.
We accept the major credit cards, like VISA, AMEX, MASTER CARD etc.
We also accept payments by Wire Transfer (only for payments above ¥150,000 JPY). For payments by Wire Transfer, please contact us for payment instructions.

Please note that we cannot start to process your order until we receive the payment.
