Deluxe Hira Zukuri Tanto Tohmaki

From the Heian Period (794~1185) this Hira Zukuri was the most common type of blade for Tanto in all periods Kowakizashi or Tanto.

The blade is made in traditional Hira Zukuri, without Shinogi or Yokote, nearly flat on both sides, with a Fukai Boshi Kaeri (Tip turning back Hamon) to improve even more the traditional aspect of this Tanto.

The Tsuka and Saya are wrapped in Cha Tho Maki (Brown bamboo wrapped) style that gives it not only a very particular appearance but also together with the blackened brass fittings an extra reinforce.
