Bishamonten or Bishamon is referred to Vaisravana, a Sanscrit word which means the God of War and Warriors. He is usually clad in armor, with a spear in one hand and a pagoda in the other. He is the scourge of evil doers and the protector for the righteous ones. He is the most powerful among Four Heavenly Kings, the Guardians of the Four Compass Directions, who are called Shitenno in Japanese. He is the Guardian for the Northern Quarter. He is also one of the Japans Seven Lucky Gods who brings to us wealth and good fortune.
You and your skilful training deserve a proper Iaito, a custom made one designed on your personal needs and taste, carefully made in accordance with your order specifications. You are welcome to combine with about 100 fittings, creating your ideal sword from more than one thousand possible combinations, choosing your favorite Blade Hamon, Tsuba, Fuchi/Kashira, Menuki, Tsukamaki, Sageo and Sayas color.
Yamato Budogus Bishamonten Iaito is made by the hands of the best sword craftsmen of Japan. Great experience and handicraft of our craftsmen together with the top quality materials give you not only a well balanced good quality Iaito but also a feeling of Shinken owing to a special blade.
Like our other models, Superb Okuden Yamato Full Custom Iaito is constructed only by Japanese master craftsmen, not created by either non-Japanese labor or by mass production system: please allow us approx. 3~5 months to craft your masterpiece.
